INCD ECOIND “SIMI 2011” INTERNATIONAL  SYMPOSIUM  „THE ENVIRONMENT AND INDUSTRY”

We are pleased to invite you at the 16-th edition of the International Symposium

„The Environment and Industry” – SIMI 2011, organized in Bucharest in the period of 16-18th November 2011 at the Romanian Academy Library.

The previous editions have had a good recognition and participation from the part of scientific communities and economic environment from the country and abroad.

SIMI 2011 is organized under the patronage of Romanian Academy – Chemical Sciences Section, by INCD ECOIND in collaboration with Romanian Chemistry Society – Committee for Chemistry and Environmental Engineering, Balkan Environmental Association RO – B.EN.A Subsidiary and Romanian Environmental Association – 1998, with the support of National Authority for Scientific Research, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Environment, Ministry of Environment and Forestry.

TOPICS:

I.    ACTUAL TRENDS IN THE FIELD OF ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES (POTABLE WATERS; INDUSTRIAL AND MUNICIPAL WASTEWATERS; AIR; SOIL; WASTE; SLUDGE)

II.    POLLUTION ASSESSMENT, ENVIRONMENTAL AND QUALITY MANAGEMENT

III.   PERFORMANT METHODS AND TECHNIQUES FOR CONTROL AND MONITORING OF INDUSTRIAL POLLUTION

IV.    PRESENTATION OF COMPANIES AND/OR PRODUCTS, APPARATUS AND EQUIPMENTS IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION FIELD

Workshops and round tables on dedicated topics, awards for papers of young researchers, OPEN DAY DOOR.

The event proposes to bring together the Scientific community, economical medium and the authorities for supervision, to debate upon technical aspects of maximum interest and actuality for environmental protection.

The Symposium will be also an opportunity for contacts/partnerships for realizing of some common projects in national and European programmes in the field of environment.

The International Symposium “The Environment and Industry” has changed the location! It will take place inside the CRYSTAL PALACE BALLROOMS, Calea Rahovei no. 198 A, sector 5, Bucharest.

We are being finalized / disseminate the IInd Circular Letter – SIMI 2011, if there are potential participants who wish to register and they have not done it yet, we expect them until 31 August 2011.
